OVRTNR-Pro

OVRTNR is a powerful additive synthesizer that allows you to create the simplest of tones to rich, complex sounds. It features a variety of controls that let you sweep through the individual partials of a complex wave or add/remove partials from the wave. You can also control the panning position of each partial, which allows you to create wide, stereo sounds that still sound good in mono.

OVRTNR is compatible with MIDI Polyphonic Expression (MPE), which allows you to use expressive controllers like the Push 3 to control the sound of the synth. If you don't have an MPE controller, you can still use OVRTNR with the clip editor or by mapping the controls to MIDI channels.

Here are some of the features of OVRTNR:

16 oscillators per voice can play an additive series, or a user defined series of notes/amplitudes (red/yellow)

Each partial can have its own panning position (blue)

Each partial can be its own complex wave (lite version only uses sine waves)

Compatible with MIDI Polyphonic Expression (MPE)

Please use Live version 11.3 and Max 8.5 or newer for best performance.   This device has been developed and tested in Live 11.3.3 and Max 8.5.3.
