OVRTNR-lite
OVRTNR is a simple additive synth that lets you sweep through the individual partials (sine waves) of a complex wave (like a saw tooth wave). In solo mode, partials can play one at a time, or with some overlap for smoothly moving between partials. In add mode, sweeping the Overtoner parameter adds or removes partials from the complex wave. There is a two octave bend control built into the GUI. The MIDI pitch bend message is ignored, rather this GUI provides control and automation of bends (per channel).
This instrument runs in Max version 8.5 or newer. It has been tested in Live 11.2 There is a lot of polyphony under the hood of this instrument 16 voices inside of 16 voices, so it does take a while to load in Ableton. Version 1.0 does not leverage MPE, or any MIDI controls other than Notes/Velocity.
